Wal-Mart to ban artificial flavors
What makes processed foods so addicting? Could be the artificial flavors. But the FDA does not monitor these flavorings nor require that they be tested (note that natural flavors listed as ingredients are also artificial chemicals).
Research out of the UK suggests that these chemicals affect the brain chemistry of children, causing hyperactivity and ADHD like behavior. The research is so strong that Wal-Mart in the UK agreed to ban these ingredients in children’s foods and government agencies around the world have banned these chemical additives in children’s foods.
Beware, such ingredients also creep into children’s vitamins and supplements. We all want to do our best to keep our children healthy and supplementing their diets is an important part of overall health.
Try these products to protect your child. With no artificial color, sweetners, flavors or binders our supplements are produced at a standard 3 grades higher than organic.
